L'Uomo Nero 16: Internac/t/zional

The next issue of «L’Uomo Nero» no. 16, scheduled for publication by the end of Autumn 2019, will as customary have two main sections: a monographic section on one topic and another section on subjects of authors’ choice.

- The monographic section of Issue no.16 will be devoted to International Art.
Considering that the word “international” has several different meanings, the editorial board welcomes contributions about not-Italian artists, artistic situations involving two or more different countries, as well as on subjects related to the idea of “foreigner” in the widest sense (i.e. who lives in a different country, could it be real or fictional).

- The Fuoritema (Author’s Choice) section, in the tradition of the journal, will be divided into sub-sections (for example: Public Art, Art on Show, Iconography, The Art System, Art and Writing, Reading Practice etc.).

- Finally, the issue will contain a shorter section, entitled Rarità, riscoperte, segnalazioni (Rares, Rediscovered, Notices), containing shorter contributions: information, proceedings, small groups of sources, as well as short critical essays and perhaps reviews.
