"Eating" (working title): While some of us eat to live and others live to eat, there is no denying that food is a fundamental necessity, preoccupation and, in the best of cases, pure pleasure! In this age of abundant food choices coupled with growing disparity of access, how do our eating practices and our knowledge, values and tastes influence our communities, our society and our museums?

"War" (working title): Wars profoundly impact individuals, societies and civilizations. They reverberate in a nation’s psyche and identity for decades if not centuries. How do we remember, interpret and understand wars past and present? What are the inherent conflicts, challenges and opportunities for museums and other institutions that present or interpret war? How do ideas, conceptions and representations of peace affect our knowledge, attitudes and experiences with war?
