Lecture “Ego Picabia” by Aurélie Verdier (Paris/Berlin) on
multiple identity in the work and person of Francis Picabia.
Followed by a discussion with curator Cathérine Hug.

7 p.m., Auditorium Kunsthaus Zürich
Dada and Surrealism legend Arturo Schwarz (Milan) talks about
his memories and engages in a discourse with literary critic
Stefan Zweifel. Intro by Cathérine Hug. In English/French/Italian. A collaboration between Festspiele Zürich, Omanut Society for the promotion of Jewish art in Switzerland, and Cabaret Voltaire.

Thursday 15 September
7.30 p.m., Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIK-ISEA),
Antenne romande, UNIL-Dorigny, Anthropole, Lausanne
Lecture “Francis Picabia poète. De Dada à Pierre André Benoit
(PAB)” by Pauline von Arx (Florence) followed by a discussion
between the artist Stefan Banz (Cully), curator Cathérine Hug
and art historian Sarah Burkhalter (ISEA). A collaboration with
SIK-ISEA.

Lecture by Séverine Gossart (Paris) on the latest research
into Francis Picabia during the Second World War. Followed
