The Thematic Project Digital Collections and Research (FAPESP 2022/05946-9), based at FAU-USP, offers a postdoctoral fellowship (20 months) for research in information design applied to digital collections using artificial intelligence. The proposal investigates data visualization, organization, and exploration of metadata, aiming to expand access and transparency of born-digital collections. The researcher is sought with an interdisciplinary profile in Digital Humanities and technical skills in AI and systems development.

The implementation of the fellowship is subject to approval of the selected candidate by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation). If approved by FAPESP, the selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of BRL 12,570.00. A technical reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual fellowship amount will be provided to cover expenses directly related to the research activities of the Thematic Project. If the postdoctoral fellow resides in a different location and needs to relocate to the city where the host institution is located, they may be eligible for a relocation allowance.
