The Ukraine Cultural Heritage Fund (UCHF) announces an open competition for the position of Executive Director.
Applications are invited from candidates with at least 10 years of senior leadership experience, including in foundations, cultural institutions, or international organizations. Essential qualifications include a proven track record in strategic and operational management, experience working with donor-funded programs, partnership development, and a strong understanding of governance and accountability principles in the non-profit sector.
The Executive Director will be responsible for the Fund’s day-to-day operations, overall operational management, and the proper implementation of the Fund’s programs and projects under the supervision of the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include implementing strategic decisions, managing the General Secretariat, preparing and executing the operational budget, coordinating financial, administrative, and legal processes, as well as representing the Fund internationally and fostering partnerships.
In addition, the Executive Director will oversee the organization and monitoring of grant programs, contribute to the institutional development of the Fund, strengthen international cooperation, advance advocacy efforts, and enhance UCHF’s public visibility.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Ukrainian, French, or other languages will be considered an asset.
This is a full-time position based in Brussels, Belgium. The selected candidate must reside in Brussels or be willing to relocate. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and in accordance with Belgian labor law.

Background
The Fund is a non-profit association (association sans but lucratif – ASBL) registered in Brussels, Belgium, and operates as a multi-donor platform for international support.
The mission of UCHF is to attract, mobilize, manage, and invest resources to implement programs and projects aimed at the preservation, protection, and restoration of cultural heritage, as well as the development and promotion of Ukrainian culture.
Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture of Ukraine Tetyana Berezhna presented the Ukraine Cultural Heritage Fund in France and Denmark and recently introduced the composition of the Fund’s Board of Directors.
