The Faculty of Arts of the University of Geneva is inviting applications for a post of
PROFESSOR
(full or associate) in the history of early modern art (16th to 18th centuries).
CHARGE: A full position involving teaching at bachelor's, master's and post-graduate levels, as well as supervising master's and doctoral theses.
The required profile includes different fields of research in early modern art history (European and non-European) as well as a diversified methodological approach.
The candidate will be expected to develop national and international research in his/her field of specialisation and obtain external funding.
He or she will also be responsible for management and organisational duties in the History of Art and Musicology Department and the Faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
PhD and habilitation, or equivalent qualifications (second book).
Experience in directing research and teaching.
Publications in international journals.
Classes are taught in French. Proficiency in German, Italian and English is desirable.
