Workshop: Artists’ Archives: Documents and Domiciles of Artistic Practices.
In the field of contemporary art, modes of artistic production and archival processes overlap. More and more artists are creating archives of their own working processes. The workshop seeks to pursue a discussion on the histories and practices of artists’ archives. The investigation engages with the manifold aesthetic, epistemic, and affective relationships that evolve from non-institutional practices of archiving.
