Studies on Art and Architecture 3-4 (2023)

Ingrid Ruudi

The current issue of Kunstiteaduslikke Uurimusi / Studies on Art and Architecture focuses on new perspectives on the Baltic regional art history. Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian researchers look for common traits and differences in the arts and architecture of the recent past. Discussions concern aspects that have contributed to forging local identities, reaching beyond East-West dichotomies, and employing a more transnational or postcolonial perspective, but also self-representation in curatorial strategies and suggestions for further research avenues.
