Call for applications for new Chair of the Design History Society based in London

Sadly, the chair of the Design History Society, Claire O’Mahony has decided to step down with the termination of her three-year tenure at the end of the 2022 DHS conference. We thank Claire for her wise stewardship of the Society through these transformative times involving a pandemic and many financial uncertainties and for her astuteness in promptly responding to a new era of virtual platforms and ways of support.

The DHS is making a new call for a Chair with a reconceived role and person descriptor in response to the current climate and the society's future needs.

The Society will be accepting applications for a new Chair with a revised call. The applications are welcome until 11.59pm (GMT+1), on Tuesday 24 May 2022. Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 1 June and a decision will be communicated shortly thereafter, for ratification at the DHS AGM in September.
