The School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University (UK) is
pleased to offer an AHRC-funded MA studentship in Photography Studies
for the academic year 2010/11 under the Block Grant Partnership scheme.
The studentship is available to UK and EU candidates studying on a full
or part-time basis. Applications are welcome from candidates intending
to study for the School's MA in the Photographic Image. Applications are
also welcome from students wishing to pursue a research MA in topics
related to the photographic image (including text-image relations,
photography in/and literature, photography and cultural memory) across
different national cultures (including France, Germany, Italy and Latin
America). In order to be considered for this award, you must have
applied for a place to study with us. The closing date for doing so is
15 March 2010. Applicants should state that they wish to be considered
for the AHRC studentship on the online form.
