Art Historian, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

The School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore, is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position
in Art History, beginning in August 2008.

Open Rank. Ph.D. required. Competitive salary, commensurate with
experience and qualifications.

Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are
particularly welcome: history and theory of photography; history of
graphic and/or industrial design; history of contemporary art, including
time-based and new media.

An individual with experience in innovative academic or creative
environments, with an international focus, is preferred. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach (up to three courses a semester),
conduct research in his or her relevant field, as well as contribute to
the development of the undergraduate and graduate programmes. The
University offers substantial opportunities in terms of support and
resources for academic research.
