Call for Sponsored Session Proposals
International Medieval Congress at Leeds, 7-10 July 2008
The International Center of Medieval Art (ICMA) seeks proposals for
sessions to be held under the organization's sponsorship at next year's
International Medieval Congress in Leeds (UK).
The theme of the conference is "The Natural World," and sessions addressing
that theme are particularly encouraged, but the conference organizers note
that they welcome sessions on any medieval topic. The ICMA welcomes
session proposals in all fields of medieval art history, broadly construed.
Both junior and senior scholars are invited to apply. The guidelines of
the Congress dictate that a session proposal must include a 100 word
abstract of the proposed session theme, the names of the moderator and of
all of the speakers, along with their paper titles. Further information
about the conference and its rules can be found at the conference website:
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/ims/imc/

The deadline for proposals is 1 August 2007. Session organizers and
speakers must be members of the ICMA at the time of the conference.
Information about the organization can be found at its website:

Please direct all session proposals and inquiries to the Chair of the
