18th Annual Conference
Call for Papers 2007 MAPACA Conference
November 2-4, 2007
Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel Philadelphia
Proposals for papers, panels and round-tables are invited for the 2007
MAPACA conference in Philadelphia, PA. The conference offers a wide range
of research areas in Popular Culture and American Culture. These areas and
their corresponding chairs are listed below. Please send a one-page
(250-300 word) proposal to the appropriate chair before June 15, 2007.
Include a brief CV or bio and any A/V needs. Please note: only slide
projectors, carousels, screens and combined VCR/DVD players with monitors
are provided. Single papers, three or four person panels, round-tables and
alternative formats are encouraged. You may submit proposals to more than
one area, but you may present only ONE paper at the conference. For more

online newsletter, The Gazette, at www.mapacagazette.net.
