I am seeking one co-panelist for a session on the city and its
representations (in literature, in film, in other cultural texts) for the
Louisville 20th Century Literature Conference.
The two co-panelists will be presenting papers on, respectively, the links
between theories of modernism/postmodernism and the practice of urban
renovation in the center of Paris, and representations of the city in
contemporary literature.
Papers on representations of contemporary urban space or landscapes,
particularly in France / Europe but possibly elsewhere, would be welcome, as
would papers on other related subjects.
If you are interested please contact me at aas195psu.edu.
