I appreciate that you're looking for modern images but this particular
mother-daughter pairing is enormously well represented in late medieval art,
especially in northern Europe. There are a lot of good images in a book
called "Interpreting Cultural Symbols- St Anne in late Medieval Society" ed
K Ashley and P Sheingorn (University of Georgia Press 1990). The situation
is complicated by the tradition of the "other" Marys- Anne's two other
daughters Mary Salome and Mary Cleophas, who were necessary to account for
the references to James as Jesus' brother in the Gospels. This gave rise
to a sub-genre of the Holy Kindred- all the Marys plus their husbands and
offspring seated round St Anne. There is a lovely tryptych in the Musee
des Beaux Arts in Brussels by Quentin Matsys, painted for a confraternity of
St Anne in Leuven, which puts the whole family on charmingly chaotic
display, with one of the younger infants (needless to say not the Christ
child) about to do something aggressive to an illuminated book of hours.

I find your subject very interesting; I studied it in an essay dedicated to
the image of the "woman with the book" in the early middle ages. I suggest
you to verify St. Jerome's words about the matrilinear transmission of the
culture by the books, which he states are much more important than silks
and jewelry; there are many images in the late middle ages of St.Anne
teaching the Virgin to read the Holy Scriptures (notably in XIII-XIV
century Psalters, French and English).

There's the Virgin and Child with St. Anne by Albrecht Durer. It's in the
Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Seems like I've also seen a
sculpture of Anne with the infant Mary at the Cloisters, which is a part of
the MET. You can find their website at http://www.metmuseum.org. You can
search the collection online, although not all the works are there.
