BOA. Boletín de Arte is an electronic academic journal of art history, published by the Instituto de Historia del Arte Argentino y Americano (Institute of Argentine and American Art History) of Facultad de Bellas Artes from Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
The scope of the Journal focuses on theoretical and empirical research in the fields of art history, visual culture and comparative arts. BOA publishes original research, critical essays, interviews and exhibition and book reviews on historical, modern and contemporary art. The journal welcomes the submission in English, French and Portuguese besides Spanish and papers are published in its original language. It uses a double-blind, peer-reviewed trial.

Submissions guidelines
The article for consideration should be sent to the e-mail of the Instituto de Historia del Arte Argentino y Americano, together with an abstract, list of illustrations and maximum of 5 illustrations in JPG or TIFF format at 300 dpi resolution. Authors are responsible for securing permission to reproduce quoted material and all illustrations. Please also include a very short biographical note which incorporates your institutional address.

Articles:
- between 15,000 and 30,000 characters with spaces, bibliography and footnotes included.
-Title: until 55 characters with spaces (Subtitles can be including with the same maximum length).
- Keywords: 3-5 words

Abstracts:
- between 500-900 characters with spaces.
