Applications are invited for a Lectureship / Senior Lectureship in History of Art at the University of Birmingham. The post holder must have a specialism in European and / or American art of the period 1400 to 1800.

Applicants will be expected to contribute to BA (Hons) and MA / MPhil teaching, supervise postgraduate research, and take an active part in the strategic development of the history of art curriculum and research, ideally in collaboration with both academic and non-academic institutions

Lecturer starting salary £36,862 to £44,016 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £49,539 a year). Senior Lecturer starting salary £45,336 to £52,556 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £68,575 a year).
