I am looking for some information on the family of Louis Le Vau, premier architecte du Roi under Louis XIV. His daughter Louise (b. 30 September 1642) married Jacques Mignon of the Parlement of Metz on 19 January 1658. I am wondering if they had children and if so who they were.

I am an adjunct professor of Humanities at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio. Presently I am completing a manuscript begun by John C. Rule (OSU emeritus) on the administration of the department of Colbert de Torcy, Louis XIV's last foreign minister (1696-1715). I am looking at the careers and connections of his premier commis, including Charles Mignon. I am unclear about the exact connections among the various Mignon, but it is clear that Jacques Mignon, who married Louise Le Vau, was kin - perhaps a brother?

I post on H-France but for this information thought that I needed to look to experts in art.
