14th International Art and Technology Meeting (# 14.ART):
Art and Human Enhancement

The meeting aims to explore and discuss, through artistic experience/research, how the relations between art, science and technology emerge on and through contemporary artistic culture – resulting from and on collaboration between different fields of knowledge. It also aims, through the proposed topics to distinguish artwork using digital technology as a tool to produce engagement and affect - creating unprecedented systems, essential to a thought, which conceptualizes the sensitive knowledge and Human Enhancement.

# 14ART: Art and Human Enhancement proposes to examine, contrast and discuss new productive territories, as well as exploring future creative developments. The event will seek threshold cultural zones and overlap between areas and cultures, academic research and independent creative practices, sustainable and social engagement policies or technological ideas and proposals for the evolution of the Human, for the twenty-first century.

The 14th International Art and Technology Meeting (# 14.ART): Art and Human Enhancement, 2015 edition, will be held by the Universities of Aveiro (PT), Brasília (BR) and Goiás (BR), with the participation of the Borough of Aveiro (PT).
