Kaleidoscope: New perspectives on the humanities

28 – 29 May 2011, Millburn House

The first event organised by the University of Warwick's HRC ‘Postgraduate Scholars Program’. This event seeks to intertwine different disciplines and artistic practices through the theme of colour and its relationship with:

· Being
· Perceiving
· Responding
· Communicating
· Belonging

Special guests include Professor Paul Smith (History of Art, University of Warwick) and Shirin Ramzanali Fazel (Writer)

Papers, workshops, and presentations are invited from academics, postgraduates, writers, and artists for any of the following panels: Being, Perceiving, Responding, Communicating, and Belonging. Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be submitted to the Organising Committee at warwickcolourgmail.com by 21 March, 2011. When submitting an abstract, please include the following information: author(s), affiliation, email address, title of abstract and the title of the panel to which you are submitting in the subject line of the email.
