The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America announces the Call for Applications for its 2025–26 Fellowship Program.

We invite applications for:

- up to four Weinberg Fellowships in Architectural History and Preservation
- up to two Gerda Henkel Foundation Fellowships in the History of Art
- one Alexander Bodini Fellowship in Developmental and Adolescent Psychiatry
- one Burke Fellowship in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage in Japan and Italy

and we welcome proposals outside these precise categories as well.

Candidates—at the post-doctoral or faculty level—can apply from all countries. Fellows receive a stipend, travel allowance, health benefits, and an office in the Academy on the Columbia campus.

The Italian Academy, a global center at Columbia for cross-disciplinary research, has hosted hundreds of Fellows with innovative and ground-breaking projects from all around the world.

We offer
a) a gross salary ranging from $7,000 up to $8,500/month (you may be required to pay tax on this; consult your accountant or financial advisor);
b) a travel allowance to cover the airfare to & from New York;
c) a one-time housing allowance;
d) a portion of health-insurance costs.
