2022 wird Prof. Dr. Maria Fabricius Hansen, Kopenhagen, mit der Panofsky-Professur am Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte ausgezeichnet. In Verbindung damit schreibt das Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte ein Panofsky Fellowship aus.

Das Stipendium richtet sich an Promovierende und Post-Docs (bis fünf Jahre nach der Promotion), die an einem Forschungsvorhaben zum Thema „Kunst, Natur, Technologie in der Frühen Neuzeit“ arbeiten. Erwartet werden Präsenz vor Ort, eine Vorstellung des Themas und Mitarbeit an den Aktivitäten des Zentralinstituts für Kunstgeschichte.
Das Stipendium hat eine Laufzeit von drei Monaten und sollte im September oder Oktober 2022 angetreten werden. Die Höhe des Stipendiums beträgt für Doktorand:innen monatlich 2.000 EUR, für Post-Docs 2.300 EUR.

Call for Applications // Panofsky Fellowship 2022: Art, Nature, and Technology in the early Modern Period

Prof. Dr. Maria Fabricius Hansen, Copenhagen, will hold the Panofsky Professorship at the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte Munich in 2022. In connection with this professorship the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte seeks applications for a Panofsky Fellowship.

The fellowship is intended for doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars (who have graduated within the last five years) who are working on a project related to the topic “Art, Nature, and Technology in the early Modern Period”. Fellows are expected to maintain a presence at the ZI, to present the Fellowship project, and to partake in the activities of the ZI. The fellowship lasts three months and commences in September or October 2022.
Graduate fellows will receive a monthly stipend of 2000 Euros. Postgraduate fellows will receive 2300 Euros per month.

In addition to a CV and a list of publications and presentations, applicants should submit a project précis of no more than three pages.
