Hello,

For the Selected Papers of John Jay [for more information go to:

we are trying to research a miniature portrait of Catharine Livingston
by Pierre Eugene du Simitiere (c.1780/81). We have what may be the
portrait, but it is unattributed and unsigned (it is in the collection
of her descendants and they have no information). Does anyone have any
suggestions on how to find more information. If someone would like to
see the image we have, I could send it privately.
