The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art invites you to Building a Legacy:
Collecting American Paintings for Kansas City-

A Symposium in Honor of Crosby and Bebe Kemper on Saturday, October 20,
2007.

The symposium also celebrates the publication of The Collections of the
Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art: American Paintings to 1945.

on Winslow Homer and Eastman Johnson;

Dr. Erika Doss, University of Notre Dame,

Dr. Kathleen Foster, Philadelphia Museum of Art,
on Thomas Eakins;

Dr. Erica Hirshler, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston,
on John Singer Sargent;

Dr. Franklin Kelly, National Gallery of Art,
