Andre Derain, Robert Delaunay

Dear List Members:

In reviewing the available literature as I go about expanding my personal
library for research and teaching, I have discovered that the monographs in
English on a few early modern artists, in particular Derain and Delaunay, are
long outdated and limited in reproductions, the application of new
scholarship and methods, etc. Also, there have been recent monographs /
exhibition catalogues on these two artists in French. It seems strange that
there haven't been full-scale exhibitions with catalogues or monographs in
English on these two seminal figures in 30-40 years. These exhibits haven't
come to the U.S. or the U.K., and these books haven't been translated to
English.

Are there any plans for retrospectives in the U.S. and / or monographs in
English on Andre Derain and Robert Delaunay?

Thank you very much.
