Zum 1. April 2018 schreibt die Philosophische Fakultät der Universität zu Köln im Rahmen des Graduiertenkollegs 2212 "Dynamiken der Konventionalität (400–1550)"

6 Promotionsstellen und eine Postdoc-Stelle

für einen Zeitraum von drei Jahren aus. Das monatliche Entgelt für die Promotionsstellen umfasst 65 % TV-L 13, für die Postdoc-Stelle 100 % TV-L 13.

Das Kolleg untersucht die Dynamiken der Konventionalität in interdisziplinärer Perspektive von der Spätantike bis zur Frühen Neuzeit. Unter dem Leitbegriff der Konvention werden Phänomene wie Gewohnheit, Regelhaftigkeit, Tradition und Habitualisierung auf ihre inneren Dynamiken hin befragt. Beteiligte Fächer sind Geschichtswissenschaft, Germanistik, Philosophie, Kunst- und Architekturgeschichte, Mittellateinische Philologie und Musikwissenschaft. Von den Bewerber_innen um die Promotionsstellen wird ein ausgezeichneter Hochschulabschluss in einem der am Kolleg beteiligten Fächer sowie ein deutlich pro lierter mediävistischer Schwerpunkt gefordert. Folgende Bewerbungsunterlagen sind einzureichen:

Die Tätigkeiten auf der Postdoc-Stelle umfassen die Entwicklung eines eigenen Forschungsprojekts, die wissenschaftliche Beratung der Promovend_innen und die Mitarbeit an der Perspektivierung des Schwerpunktthemas. Weitere Möglichkeiten der Karriereplanung und wissenschaftlichen Vernetzung stehen offen. The Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne has the following positions available:

6 doctoral positions and 1 postdoctoral position

for a period of three years starting on 1st April 2018 within the framework of the Research Training Group 2212 "Dynamics of Conventionality (400–1550)". The monthly remuneration for the doctoral positions amounts to 65 % TV-L 13, and to 100 % TV-L 13 for the postdoctoral position.

The research training group conducts research from an interdisciplinary perspective into the dynamics of conventionality from late antiquity to the early modern era. Under the overarching motto of convention, phenomena such as custom, regularity, tradition, and habitualisation are examined in order to understand their inner dynamics. The disciplines involved are history, German philology, philosophy, art and architectural history, medieval Latin philology, and musicology. The research training group offers a structured doctoral programme that is integrated interdisciplinarily and internationally. The postdoctoral position will involve developing a dedicated research project, providing scienti c advise to the doctoral candidates, and collaborating on the research institutes research focus.
