RIHA Journal – Journal of the International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art
Open Call for Papers
In Spring 2011, RIHA Journal, the e-journal of the International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art (http://www.riha-journal.org), has celebrated its first anniversary. Since its launch in April 2010, the journal has become a vibrant publishing platform for researchers and scholars from all over the world.
RIHA Journal is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal featuring research articles in the history of art and visual culture. A joint project of 28 research institutes in 19 countries, it provides an excellent medium for international scholarship.
We invite submissions of original research papers on any topic in the history of art and visual culture. Papers should be both well argued and thought provoking and offer substantial contributions to current research.
Preferred languages are English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Other languages are accepted as well, depending on the capacities of the RIHA institutes.
Suitable manuscripts are usually published within 3 to 4 months from submission. Submissions are welcome any time.
Please send your submission, including complete manuscript, English abstract, and contact details, to one of our local editors (see the list of contacts at: http://www.riha-journal.org/contact).
For further details, please consult the submission guidelines at http://www.riha-journal.org/about/for-authors/submission-guidelines.
We look forward to your contributions!
