Studio Residency, Oberegg

Alpenhof, Oberegg, St. Anton, 01.–30.04.2018
Bewerbungsschluss: 31.10.2017

Bibliothek Andreas Züst

Holding an open call twice a year, once again this autumn, the Bibliothek Andreas Züst announces an open call for applications for three studio residency stipends.

Situated on the Appenzellian St. Anton at 1,110 m.a.s.l., the residency program of the Bibliothek Andreas Züst provides the best conditions for inspired creative work. For the next round of stays in April 2018, applications will be accepted until 31 October 2017.

The open call is intended for national and international cultural workers (individuals or teams of up to a maximum of four persons) from a range of disciplines stretching across the visual arts, literature, new media, music, theatre, dance, design, architecture, film, photography, and beyond to the applied arts and art-related fields of study. The Panoramaherberge Alpenhof provides the accommodations. On-site, the stay is to be organized by the stipendiaries personally. Depending on the number of bookings, the Alpenhof can be quite lively or very quiet. Applicants are requested to submit a statement describing their specific interests and motivation in seeking a residency. The Bibliothek Andreas Züst is especially seeking projects that deal with the library as a whole or one of its sub-areas. The residency is free-of-charge, and travel costs are covered. A separate request can be made for an additional subsidy for living costs up to CHF 250/week.
