The German Center for the History of Art (DFK, Paris) will devote its annual theme for 2015-16 to “The Middle Ages and its Image.” The program will be supervised by Thomas Kirchner (director of the DFK) and François-René Martin (École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris).
The DFK will welcome a number of fellows for a year, starting September 1st, 2015. PhD students and post-doctoral scholars in art history (or related disciplines) working in the field are encouraged to apply.
Applications unrelated to the annual theme but in line with the main projects and research areas of the DFK will also be considered.

Le Centre allemand d’histoire de l’art (Paris) consacrera son thème annuel de l’année 2015-2016 au sujet : « Le Moyen Âge et son image ». Le programme sera co-dirigé par Thomas Kirchner (directeur du Centre allemand) et François-René Martin (École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris).
Dans le cadre de ce programme, plusieurs boursiers seront accueillis dès le 1er septembre 2015 pour une durée de 12 mois. Cet appel à candidature s’adresse aux doctorants et post-doctorants en histoire de l’art (ou venant de disciplines voisines) dont les sujets de recherche se rattachent à cette thématique.
Seront également examinées les candidatures sans rapport direct avec le thème annuel, mais liées aux projets et aux grands axes de recherches du Centre allemand d’histoire de l’art.

Das Deutsche Forum für Kunstgeschichte widmet sein Jahresthema 2015/16 dem Mittelalter und Mittelalterbild. Das Programm wird geleitet von Thomas Kirchner (Deutsches Forum für Kunstgeschichte) und François-René Martin (École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris).
Zu dem Jahresthema vergibt das Deutsche Forum für Kunstgeschichte in Paris zum 1. September 2015 mehrere Forschungsstipendien (Dauer: 12 Monate). Diese Ausschreibung richtet sich an Interessenten mit einem abgeschlossenen Hochschulstudium der Kunstgeschichte oder anderer fachnaher Disziplinen (M.A. und/bzw. Dr. phil.), die zum ausgeschriebenen Thema forschen.
Das Deutsche Forum für Kunstgeschichte nimmt überdies gern auch Bewerbungen entgegen, die außerhalb des Jahresthemas liegen und mit den weiteren Forschungsschwerpunkten des Instituts korrespondieren.
