ARTis ON - New scientific digital journal

ARTIS, Art History Institute at the University of Lisbon will publish during the present year, 2015, the No. 1 of ARTis ON, a new electronic journal devoted to the dissemination of Art History studies, Heritage Science and Art Market.
ARTis ON will be an annual scientific journal, published only in digital format, open to collaboration with all, academics, students, heritage technicians, agents of the art markets, etc., in order to promote emerging studies that stand out for their quality and originality.
Dedicated to the plurality of issues involving the Arts and Heritage, both national and international, ARTis ON will comprise a Thematic Block and a Varia section, aimed at small items such as book reviews, news of recent discoveries, innovations produced by research projects, interviews, etc.
The investment in digital format and in the possibility of publishing articles in several foreign languages (English, Spanish, French and Italian) aims to expand the journal disclosure and allow the publication by foreign authors.

Within the same period, we will also accept small articles for the Varia section, as well as research notes, news, interviews and recensions, which will not have to be subordinated to the central theme of the journal.
