The Department of Humanities at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez
Campus is seeking candidates for an

Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position
(base salary $62,256), starting January 2014.

Ph.D. in Art History required by the time of appointment. Competence in
teaching undergraduate courses in Art Theory, Art History, Art Criticism
and undergraduate research.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in Spanish or willingness
to acquire it. Skill/experience in obtaining grants and external funds
for research a plus.
