Archives of American Art Journal, Vol. 54, No. 2, Fall 2015

Tanya Sheehan

Dear colleagues,

As Guest Editor of the Archives of American Art Journal, I am pleased to announce the publication of Volume 54, no. 2 (fall 2015). This is the first issue of the journal overseen by its new editorial and advisory board and distributed by the University of Chicago Press. The longest-running scholarly journal devoted to the history of American art, the AAAJ aims to showcase new approaches to and out-of-the-box thinking about primary sources. It now contains both commissioned and peer-reviewed research articles based in part on the vast holdings of the Smithsonian Institution’s Archives of American Art.

To explore current and back issues of the journal, please go to www.press.uchicago.edu/ucp/journals/journal/aaa.html. The UCP website includes information regarding subscriptions and submissions to the AAAJ. I encourage potential authors to discuss their research with me by writing to SheehanTsi.edu.

Regards,

Tanya Sheehan
