ArtHist.net needs your support! The continuous maintenance and the further development of the technological infrastructure cause significant costs. In order to maintain the technological standards of the network, ArtHist.net requires the financial support from the members of the network.

The non-profit association “arthist e.V.”, founded by the editors of ArtHist.net, has an account for donations. All donations to “arthist e.V.” are tax-deductible. The association is registered as ‘non-profit’ with the Tax Office for Corporations I, Berlin-Charlottenburg, reference number VR 27424 B.

For donations up to 100 Euros the tax office only requires a copy of your bank’s booking confirmation (bank statement) with the receipt that is attached to your money transfer form and states the designated purpose. If you donate more than 100 Euros, the treasurer of ‘arthist e.V.’ will complete a donation receipt for the tax authorities. Please send an email with such a request and your name and address.
