Royal Academy of Archaeology of Belgium Prize / Prix de l’Académie royale d’Archéologie de Belgique / Prijs van de Koninklijke Academie voor Oudheidkunde van België

The award is intended for an unpublished study in art history or archaeology in the present territory of Belgium. The work will have a maximum of 100,000 characters (including spaces, notes and annexes). The Prize will be awarded to an original scientific work written in one of the Belgian national languages or in English. This work is written especially for the Prize. It must be suitable for publication as such, apart from any changes proposed by the jury. The winning article will be published in the Revue belge d’Archéologie et d’Histoire de l’Art/Belgisch Tijdschrift voor Oudheidkunde en Kunstgeschiedenis.

Manuscripts, printed in triplicate, must reach the secretariat of the Prize of the Royal Academy of Archaeology of Belgium before 30/03/2022, accompanied by a digital version. One copy will be kept in the archives of the Royal Academy of Archaeology of Belgium.

In 2022, the prize will amount to € 2,000. The winner will also receive a medal.
