POSITION: Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, College of
Fine Arts

DUTIES: Lead planning and budgeting for research activities in the
College; coordinate graduate programs and curricular development; lead
research and grant writing activities including chairing the College
Research Committee; serve on related University committees; teach one course
each semester in area of expertise; other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Requires Doctorate or MFA in one of the arts
disciplines and five years of experience in higher education; knowledge of
graduate programs; research/creative activity in the arts; grant writing
experience; and ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and
college/university administrators. Administrative experience desirable.

RANK AND SALARY: Full-time AP position with faculty status in the
appropriate school. Salary competitive and based on qualifications and
experience.

THE COLLEGE: The College of Fine Arts has nationally known programs in
art, music, theater, and arts technology and produces more than 400
performances and exhibitions annually. With a faculty of 114, the college
has more than 1400 majors and serves the campus at large with general
education courses and performing opportunities.
